This is India?

This is India? Yes, it is India, Bangalore, to be exact, also known as the "silicon valley" of India. This is where a big technical job explosion is happening in Asia. If you call a computer help line or some other help line, chances are your call is answered by someone in Bangalore.

This is me at the amazing pool at the Palm Medows Club hotel I stayed at while in India. This hotel was inside the expatriate compound and was very comfortable. Felt very much like I was in a resort in Florida. Besides this pool, which has a couple of hot tub areas, a zero entry point and a lazy river feature, there were tennis courts, running trails and a very nice restaurant.

Oh yeah, if you want to go to India, you REALLY have to WANT to go. It took me a mere 3 flights totaling 23 hours of flying time over 32 hours to get there. This is what I look like jet lagged and the Indian sun in my eyes! Posted by Picasa
